The hotel is fairly clean, relaxing and has favourable and great location in mountainous rain forest. Spacious and bright rooms complete with orange juice, free coffee and fridge. The great thing is location in the middle of the city. For lunch or dinner go to Restaurante el Venado, located around 4-6 minutes away by foot from the venue.

I had a fantastic time at Don Taco. The room I stayed in was spotless and cleaned every day, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The hot water shower was a delight, although it would have been nice to have hot water in the wash bowl too. The glass interior balcony provided a lovely space to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. The hotel's location, just a few minutes from town, was convenient despite the steep road. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, including fruit, eggs, rice, cheese. The sisters, Jessica and Jacqueline, who run the place, were always cheerful and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The wifi in room 11 was excellent. I highly recommend Don Taco for a clean, comfortable, and efficient stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! First, the location up the hill from the main town provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I enjoyed sitting on the terrace of my room, overlooking the stunning views of Monteverde. The attention to detail was evident, especially in the spacious rooms with big bathrooms. Additionally, the breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious plate of local fruits and the option to try the locally-made cheese. this hotel offered great value for money and exceeded my expectations.

The breakfast at Hotel Don Taco was very good, with a nice selection of fruit and traditional dishes. The staff were also very nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Eduardo and Anthony were particularly helpful. The kitchen staff were also friendly and accommodating.

I had a great stay at a lovely, laid back hotel in the middle of town. The location was perfect, within walking distance of dinner, shops, and all the tours. The staff were super helpful and assisted with all our bookings. The breakfast was good, and the view from the hill was breathtaking. I would happily stay at this hotel again.
